VandyThePink and ASICS are teaming up for another project, this time using the GEL-Kayano 12.1. The Virginia-based label has previously worked with ASICS on the GEL-NIMBUS 10.1, and the new project keeps the food-inspired theme going. This time, the inspiration comes from two familiar ice cream flavors.
For the “Vanilla” pair, Antique White covers most of the upper. Metallic Silver overlays add contrast around the toe, eyestays, and midfoot, while additional cream tones help complete the look. The ASICS stripes also receive a lighter finish, keeping the color scheme close to the vanilla theme.
