During the early 2000s, Chopra became part of Weston Corporation, a family-owned company specialising in sporting goods. Being a third-generation member of the business, Chopra eagerly joined the company after completing his bachelor's in business administration from the National University of Singapore. Mandeep Chopra found himself captivated by his forefathers passion for turning sportswear goods into a thriving business, which led him to discover the intriguing world of sneaker culture. While he had always viewed sneakers as simple running shoes, his keen observations made him realise that they were far more than just something to wear on your feet. Instead, he saw sneakers as a powerful means of self-expression.

Mandeep Chopra kickstarted Limited Edt back in 2003, and ever since then, this brand has been an essential part of Singapore's sneaker craze. Mandeep's journey began in 2000 when he joined his family's sporting goods business. His trips to Tokyo and New York left a lasting impact on him, especially when he witnessed the rising popularity of sneakers. In one of his family's stores, he decided to introduce a diverse range of lifestyle products and quickly gained a loyal following. By January 2002, he noticed a small line forming for one of his launches, and that's when he realised he could make a dedicated sneaker store a success. Just a year later, Limited Edt was born, and the rest is history.

His adventure began in Singapore as the first standalone sneaker boutique. Since then, his brand has grown into the most prominent sneaker boutique chain in Southeast Asia. He once said this in an interview, “We take pride in offering one-of-a-kind concepts that cater to various sneaker and streetwear niches, ranging from skateboarding to basketball and even high-end ready-to-wear street fashion.” Making his ultimate goal to make Limited Edt become a top lifestyle store in Asia, aiming to inspire and lead the way for the region and beyond.
